If it is only a fraction as good as the book it is still probably well
worth reading.

Film Festival, on Saturday 17. November, with JS there in person.

The tv version on tonight is only 1.5 hours on a commercial channel and
I see that the time above is 2.5 hours but appears to include some
discussion time as well. I wonder how different the two versions are
likely to be?

Dunno... But the TV version we just saw was interesting. The lad got
hooked and stayed up to watch it with his dad.
