Lost a dark-ish red detachable (obviously..) hood on a trip up Gleann
Fionnlighe/Glen Finlay on the way to/from Gaor Bheinn / Gulvain?
Section 4, near the head of Loch Eil. It was there last Saturday 28th April.
Route (normally) starts near junction of A830 and B861 at NM959793 which is
roughly where I saw it.

(I can see Gulvain from where I am typing: as well as the Loch Lochy pair.
Sunny, warm, bit of low cloud/mist just below me. Sigh! These council
housing estates (we call them "Schemes") are tough... )

Yours aye

We were on Gulvain on said day (28th) and noticed the hood. It was
there when we ascended in the morning, and still there in the evening.

Nice day for a walk wasn't it?

Aye Jim, 'twas a nice day, though through knee damage I canna go far right
now...

Of course, it is always possible that, as the headless hiker of Gleann
Fionnlighe disnae need a hood, he's awaiting for you up the glen..... and
left the hood there to entice yea on....

Just back from consitutional up the hill, Am Meall, with the radio/'phone
mast behind Ballachulish (start where the Tourist Centre is....) where I
broke the bottom rung of the steps over the deer fence at the top (only
414m..) Must lose even more weight... (Yes, told NTS Glencoe who said they
will pass message on if it ain't their land...)

Saw & said hello to that Fergus Ewing off the SNP in the car park... What
will his new job be in a week today???

Yours aye
